WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Students who have successfully completed Healing Touch Level 1.
In the Level 2 workshop, students are introduced to additional healing methods that include a client intake interview, back techniques, trauma release, and a one-hour healing sequence. Emphasis is on developing healing sequences for specific client needs and building healing relationships. Self-care is also a focus.
The participant will learn how to:
- Develop interviewing and additional assessment skills.
- Demonstrate a one-hour healing sequence for specific client problems.
- Document clinical work.
- Practice back and neck techniques.
- Discuss applications of Healing Touch in personal and professional practice.
This course offers 16 Continuing Education contact hours for nurses and massage therapists. The Healing Touch Program is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
